Yorlife’s Mean Green Kefir Machine Recipe

Ok so hands up who has made New Year’s resolutions in the past and not managed to stick to them? Go on… be honest.  Well you are not alone, according to one grim statistic only 8% of poeple stick to their resolutions.  But let’s face it, January is tough.  It is cold, wet, our purses are significantly thinner and if like me you indulged in one too many mince pies and glasses on prosecco, your waistline probably isn’t.  So add to the mix a grueling diet and exercise regime and it is no wonder that most people spend January looking pretty miserable.  Well here at Yorlife we are all about realistic resolutions and making changes which are easy and can, nae WILL make you feel better.  The best thing you can do?  Start showing your gut some love.

By that we mean making sure you are having a daily dose of probiotics, in the form of our delicious kefir.  But as you are working so hard to create a leaner meaner you this year we thought you might like the recipe for our Super Green Machine kefir smoothie featured on our insta this week. So easy to make, so yummy and so so so good for you.  So don’t beat yourself up if you missed that 6am workout you promised yourself you would do (again) and instead commit to realistic, manageable changes to your lifestyle which can improve your energy levels, digestion and wellbeing.  Heck you might find you feel so good after a week of kefir that that 6am workout isn’t so scary after all… maybe 😉 Happy New Year folks x



   250ml Yorlife Natural Kefir

   2 cups of greens, kale is best

   1 Celery Stick

   1/2 Avocado

   1 Pear

   Juice from half a Lemon

   A good handful of Mint

   A few sprigs of parsley

Stick it all in the blender and blend until smooth, serve in your favourite glass with an extra celery stick if you’re feeling wild!
